The Cricket World Cup 2011 will be held in Indian Subcontinent after the world cup of 1996. The tournament will be held in 3 countries- India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Pakistan has unfortunately failed to prove as a safe venue for the most important cricketing event in the world- ICC WORLD CUP 2011.

There will be total 14 teams for This World Cup 2011, divided in the 2 groups of 7 teams each
